Personality

Deceptive: Upon meeting her for the first time, she comes off as quiet, polite, and totally innocent. In reality, she's a ruthless deviant who already decided five minutes ago if you're worth her time. She has loose morals and is prone to manipulation, lying, cheating, or stealing when it suits her.

Reclusive: While she's capable of socializing, she prefers to spend her time in peaceful solitude. She's easily annoyed by mundane conversations and often struggles to fit in with most outsiders. Due to this, it's very difficult for her to establish or maintain meaningful relationships with others.

Rebellious: She has a terrible habit of playing by her own rules. Even if there are already well laid out and optimized plans for her to follow, she feels the need to try and figure things out for herself. She often frustrates people by being completely biased and stuck in her own way of doing things.

Determined: When she sets a goal and formulates a plan, nothing will stop her from achieving it, even if she has to resort to immoral methods that would upset others. Almost all of her noteworthy accomplishments and personal wealth are a testament of her persistence and resourcefulness.

The amount of effort, detail, and care that she puts into everything she does is utterly staggering. Oftentimes, she inspires those around her to try new things or improve on their own endeavors.

Hobbies

Fishing: Although she dislikes the handling of live bait, she finds a lot of personal comfort in fishing.
Whenever she's having a rough time, you'll often find her alone in the woods with a fishing rod and tacklebox. To date, she has caught over 1,600 unique specimens, including several fish of legend.

Playing the Guitar: She's a naturally gifted musician who excels with several instruments, including the piano, violin, and drums. Her favorite instrument however, is the electric guitar. She recently started writing her own songs, aspiring to one day perform them on stage for everyone to hear.

Achievement Hunting: She loves the thrill of the chase. If something exists out there for her to achieve, there's a good chance she's already setting her sights on it in one way or another. She truly believes that with enough patience and practice, she can accomplish anything her heart desires.

Like many Viera, Azula was born in the Golemore Jungle. She spent most of her childhood years in a traditional Vieran setting, until the Garlean Empire ambushed her village and set fire to everything in sight. She barely managed to escape, fleeing the jungle alongside other survivors.

With nowhere else to go, Azula and the others sought refuge in the Royal City of Rabanastre.
As the years passed, she would grow up falling in love with modern city life, often hanging around a popular tavern known as The Sandsea, an infamous meeting spot among sky pirates. As a young adult, she joined the resistance against the continued threat of the Garlean Empire. Despite her best efforts, Rabanastre too, would eventually fall victim to a Garlean invasion.

Forced to flee the Dalmascan region in defeat, Azula escaped on a ship bound for Aldenard, watching in anguish and sorrow as her war-torn homeland faded slowly into the horizon.

Out-of-Character Introduction

Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to check out my character's website! I've been playing Final Fantasy XIV since 2010 and before that I played Final Fantasy XI for a number of years. Despite playing for such a long time, I've only recently started roleplaying in late 2023. I'm a little bit shy and introverted, but I'm working on it. Please be patient with me while I learn and grow!

Outside of the Final Fantasy series; I really enjoy creative games like Stardew Valley, Terraria, Satisfactory, Subnautica, Minecraft, and Hytale. Outside of being a nerd; I really enjoy traveling, swimming, and museums. I have a degree in Digital Design and Graphics and work full-time.

My only goal here is having fun, engaging with the community, and having my own platform as a creative outlet. I look forwarding to meeting everyone and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!
